CRM Contact Data Audit — Demonstration Project

A simulated demonstration of a structured CRM contact data audit. The scenario illustrates how duplicate candidates, missing information, inconsistent properties, and other quality questions can be organized for review.

Simulated demonstration. This is not a client project. It contains no real client data or verified outcomes. Any preview is an Example Audit Preview.

Dataset description

This example uses 1,500 simulated contact records to demonstrate a review structure for contact data. It is not a client engagement, is not based on a live CRM, and does not represent measured business outcomes. The objective is to show the shape of a documented audit and approval-led next steps.

1,500 simulated contact records

Problems examined

01Contact information may use inconsistent formatting across records.
02Some records may lack fields that are useful for segmentation or follow-up.
03Duplicate candidates need human review before records are merged.
04Property values may vary in ways that make filtering less predictable.

Findings

01Duplicate candidates can be grouped for comparison before any merge decision.
02Missing field values can be categorized by field to make gaps visible.
03Formatting differences can be separated from genuinely different values.
04Potentially stale or invalid contact details should be flagged for verification.

Decisions and approvals

01Every duplicate candidate pair is marked for client comparison; none is merged on the basis of matching rules alone.
02Standardization conventions are proposed for approval rather than applied by default.
03Potentially stale contact details are flagged for verification instead of being deleted.

Actions performed

01Organize records into review categories and document the audit logic.
02Prepare duplicate candidate pairs for client-led comparison.
03List standardization opportunities and proposed conventions.
04Reserve every data change for explicit client review and authorization.

Documented results

No client results or completed cleanup outcomes are claimed. This simulated example demonstrates how a findings report and approved-action plan could be structured; any actual counts would be established from an authorized dataset and documented in a real engagement.
